The idea
Watching together should feel like sharing a screen, not operating a separate remote control. SyncMe’s product direction is to let people interact with the actual player while sharing the experience with their room.
The product challenge
The project connects an app experience with a browser extension. Its intended interaction model covers shared play, pause and seeking, and following people into a new video without repeatedly rebuilding the room.
Experience design
The wider product scope includes room permissions, reactions and conversation. The emphasis is on a straightforward join flow and on making connection state understandable, rather than hiding complexity behind an ambiguous “connected” label.
Current presentation
This case study describes the project direction and development work. The hosted entry point was checked during portfolio preparation and currently requires sign-in. An authenticated room capture and a fresh multi-device demonstration are still to be added.
